How we work
ALLGTA World is an independent, bilingual reference for Grand Theft Auto VI. It is not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. It exists because the information about this game is scattered, and much of it is invented.
Three tiers, always labelled
Every fact on this site belongs to one of three tiers, and the tier is stated where the fact appears.
- Confirmed. Published by Rockstar in writing: the official site, the Newswire, store listings, the official videos and their descriptions. A release date, a platform, a character name, a region name.
- Reported. Attributed to Rockstar by a named outlet, or observed by press at a Rockstar briefing, but not in Rockstar's own written materials. The six-star wanted level. The 80-hour playthrough. We say who reported it.
- Schematic. Our own work, presented as such. The atlas of Leonida is drawn from the confirmed region names; every marker on it carries an official or schematic badge; the concept art on the homepage is labelled fan-made where it appears.
What we do not do
- We do not host leaked footage, images or files, and we do not treat their contents as facts about the released game. We cover leaks as news, by citing, when they are newsworthy.
- We do not print numbers Rockstar has not given. There is no square-mileage for the map on this site, because there is none from Rockstar.
- We do not invent points of interest. The map's launch-day categories are empty and say so.
- We do not embed videos without verifying the uploading channel. Re-uploads of official trailers by third parties rank above the originals in search, and we check every id against the channel that posted it.
Corrections
When Rockstar publishes something that changes a page, the page changes the same day and the change is noted. When we get something wrong, we say so on the page rather than quietly editing it.
Who
The site is written and built by a small team in France, in English and in French, with each language written natively rather than translated. Official imagery is credited to Rockstar Games wherever it appears.
