GTA Online Weekly Update: Reset Time and This Week's Bonuses
The GTA Online weekly update goes live every Thursday, and it changes the bonuses, discounts, free items and featured vehicles for the next seven days. As of October 22, 2026, the current week runs from October 22 to 28 and is the fourth week of Rockstar’s Halloween event, which lasts until November 4. The next update arrives on Thursday, October 29, 2026.
Updated October 22, 2026: this page now covers the week of October 22 to 28 and what Rockstar has already published for October 29 to November 4. Rockstar posted no new GTA Online article on the Newswire for this week, so the official part still comes from its October 1 Halloween article.
Below, everything Rockstar published is kept separate from what trackers found in the game, so you can see which is which.
When the weekly update goes live
Rockstar’s own patch notes talk about “the current weekly period”, and the Newswire dates every event from a Thursday. Rockstar does not state the exact switchover time. Community trackers such as esports.net and NextReset put it at 10:00 UTC. In local time, that gives:
| City | Until late October 2026 | After the clocks change |
|---|---|---|
| UTC | 10:00 | 10:00 |
| New York | 6:00 (EDT) | 5:00 from November 5 (EST) |
| Los Angeles | 3:00 (PDT) | 2:00 from November 5 (PST) |
| London | 11:00 (BST) | 10:00 from October 29 (GMT) |
| Paris | 12:00 (CEST) | 11:00 from October 29 (CET) |
Europe moves its clocks back on Sunday, October 25, 2026, and the United States on Sunday, November 1, so the first Thursday on winter time is October 29 in Europe and November 5 in the US. The October 22 update landed at noon in Paris; the October 29 one lands at 11:00. Weekly challenges, weekly heist bonuses and the rotation of vehicles all follow the same reset.
Where to find it
The Rockstar Newswire (rockstargames.com/newswire, filtered on GTA Online) is the official source. In 2026 Rockstar has increasingly published one article per event rather than one per week. The Halloween article of October 1 laid out all five weeks of the event at once, and a separate GTA+ article followed on October 8, a date Rockstar had announced in the first one. Nothing new for GTA Online was posted on the Newswire on October 15 or October 22.
In the game, some rotating content is only visible on location: the podium vehicle at the Diamond Casino, the Prize Ride at the LS Car Meet, the robbery targets on the Salvage Yard board. Rockstar’s weekly articles do not always list those, which is why trackers fill the gap.
What changes every week
A typical weekly update touches these things:
- Bonuses: 2X, 3X or more GTA$ and RP on selected missions, modes or businesses.
- Discounts: percentages off vehicles, properties and upgrades.
- Free rewards: a property, clothing or a vehicle for logging in or finishing a challenge.
- The Weekly Challenge: one task with a GTA$ prize.
- The podium vehicle: the car you can win on the Lucky Wheel at the Diamond Casino, shown on our 3D map.
- The Prize Ride: a car won by completing a challenge at the LS Car Meet.
- Salvage Yard robberies and the showrooms at Luxury Autos and Premium Deluxe Motorsport.
Since Title Update 1.73 in July 2026, the Thursday reset also restores the weekly completion bonus on a list of heists, which makes Thursday the best day to plan your runs. Our money guide explains how to use it.
This week: October 22 to 28, 2026

Previous week, October 15 to 21: win three Races (Orange Glow Skeleton Onesie and GTA$100,000), Grotti LSCM Cheetah Classic on the podium, Dinka Kanjo SJ as the Prize Ride, and GTA$500,000 for finishing Don’t Fuck With Dre, all reported by Dexerto, GTABase and GTA Boss.
GTA+ this month
GTA+ benefits run on their own cycle. Rockstar’s October 8 GTA+ article and its GTA+ site cover October 8 to November 4: a free Pegassi Oppressor in the Skulls livery, 6X GTA$ and RP on Halloween Survivals, 4X on Jack O’Lanterns and Ghosts Exposed, a free MTL Brickade 6x6 with free Acid Lab Supplies, and 50% off alien weapons at the Gun Van. Our GTA+ guide has the full picture.
What comes next
Rockstar has already published the official part of the last week of the event, October 29 to November 4, in its Halloween article. The Weekly Challenge is to complete 10 waves in a Survival without dying, for the Slasher Clown Outfit and GTA$250,000, and playing that week adds the Brown Vintage Skull Mask and the Halloween Chute Bag to your wardrobe. Complete it after the four earlier challenges and the extra GTA$2,000,000 follows within 72 hours. The podium car, the Prize Ride and the Salvage Yard targets for that week will only be known once the update is live.
That update is also the first on winter time in Europe: it lands at 11:00 in Paris and 10:00 in London on October 29. GTA+ benefits and the Halloween bonuses end on November 4, and as of October 22 Rockstar has not announced what follows.
