GTA Online Halloween 2026: Triple Pay and a GTA$2M Bonus
GTA Online’s Halloween event runs from October 1 to November 4, 2026. Halloween Survivals, Slasher modes and the Community Race Series pay 3X GTA$ and RP, Ghosts Exposed is back with new spirits to photograph, peyote plants are growing again, and completing all five Weekly Challenges earns an extra GTA$2,000,000. Everything below comes from Rockstar’s Halloween announcement on the Newswire and its official patch notes unless stated otherwise.
The GTA$2,000,000 Weekly Challenge bonus
Each week has one Weekly Challenge with its own prize. Complete all five and Rockstar adds GTA$2,000,000, delivered within 72 hours of the last one. The bonus is for completing them all, so a single missed week loses it.

That is GTA$700,000 in weekly prizes plus the GTA$2,000,000 bonus, GTA$2,700,000 in all. The last two weeks are the hard ones: both need a Survival, and the final challenge asks you to clear 10 waves without dying once.

Ludendorff Cemetery Survival is the zombie one, set in snowy North Yankton, with haunted animals among the waves. In Slasher, one player with a shotgun hunts the others, who only carry flashlights; survive three minutes and the roles reverse. Ghosts Exposed: new spirits, and a familiar face
Rockstar’s patch notes say Ghosts Exposed has new locations and new rewards this year. The idea has not changed: find apparitions around the map at night and photograph them with your phone camera for a group of paranormal investigators. Rockstar describes this year’s spirits as dead tech executives, including “a particular late billionaire investor whose body was never found”. Photograph all 10 and you unlock the Ghosts Exposed Jacket.
Reported. GTA BOOM and GTA Boss, which mapped the hunt in its first days, both identify that investor as Devin Weston, the billionaire from GTA V’s story: he is the tenth and last ghost, floating off the cliffs at Paleto Cove. According to both sites, each ghost only shows for a set in-game hour at night, the tenth appears only after you have sent in the other nine, and each photo pays GTA$20,000 and 500 RP, with a GTA$50,000 bonus for the full set, before any multiplier. Rockstar has not published those figures.
Peyote and the returning haunts
Rockstar also flags peyote plants growing across Southern San Andreas again: eat one and you wake up as an animal. Our peyote plant guide covers the 76 known GTA Online plants, also shown on the 3D GTA 5 map with the peyote layer on; Rockstar has not said whether any spot changed this year.
The usual night-time threats are back in Freemode, with rewards for anyone who takes them on: the Clone Slasher, and a driverless Declasse Tornado Custom that comes after players. Jack O’Lanterns outside homes and businesses pay 2X, and so do UFO Business Battles, where you extract spaceship parts from Fort Zancudo.

Playing during each week adds a free item to your wardrobe:

- October 15 to 21: Butchery and Other Hobbies T-Shirt
- October 22 to 28: White & Red Tech Demon Mask
- October 29 to November 4: Brown Vintage Skull Mask and the Halloween Chute Bag
Five vehicles are 40% off for the event: the LCC Sanctus (Motorcycle), Albany Brigham (Muscle), Albany Lurcher (Muscle), Albany Fränken Stange (Sports Classic) and Declasse Tornado Rat Rod (Sports Classic). In the first week only, nine more were 30% off, among them the Declasse Vigero ZX, the Sea Sparrow and the Nagasaki Buzzard Attack Chopper.
GTA+ members
Members could still claim the Pegassi Horus supercar for free at The Vinewood Car Club until October 7.
