GTA Online Movie Props: All 10 Locations for Solomon

By ALLGTA World Staff · September 30, 2026

GTA Online has 10 movie props stolen from Solomon Richards: 7 lie at fixed spots you reach on foot, and 3 are carried in vehicles that show up as timed events. Every prop goes back to Solomon’s office at the Richards Majestic studio in Backlot City, pays $10,000, and the full set adds $50,000 and The Space Interloper outfit. Our 3D GTA 5 map with the Movie Props layer switched on shows the 7 fixed props, and the three vehicles are covered below.

How the hunt starts

Solomon Richards, the film producer from the story mode, texts you after a break-in at his studio: his lawyers are busy with the police, and he wants someone with a personal touch. Rockstar’s tips for the Los Santos Summer Special spell out the rest: visit Solomon Richards’ office to begin the hunt, return each stolen movie prop to it to earn GTA$, and deliver all 10 for a unique reward.

The office sits on the Richards Majestic lot in Backlot City, near Del Perro. Once the hunt has started, “Solomon’s Office” is also available under Quick GPS in the Interaction Menu (GTA Wiki).

The 7 props on foot

You can pick these up in any order and carry several at once before handing them in (GTA Wiki). The numbers match our map.

Three of them need a little care:

  • The WIFA award is in the back rooms of the Vanilla Unicorn. GTA Wiki notes that you get there by paying for a private dance or by causing a disturbance.
  • The clapperboard is inside Fort Zancudo. Going over the fence into the base is asking for a wanted level, so land close, grab it and leave fast.
  • The headdress is inside the casino, which is why its Z value is negative: the game places the casino interior underground.

The Meltdown film reel is right outside Solomon’s office, so it is the natural first and last stop.

The 3 props in vehicles

These are what most players miss. Each of the three vehicles appears at one of three possible locations, sometimes parked and guarded by two to four armed men, sometimes on the move with an armed passenger. When one spawns, a timer starts and the area is marked on your map; Rockstar’s advice is to watch your minimap for blips that may reveal stolen collectibles.

GTA Wiki and GamesRadar list three spots per vehicle but disagree on the third, so we only print those both agree on. Once you have dealt with the guards you will have at least a one-star wanted level. Get in the vehicle, lose the cops, drive back to Backlot City and park in the marker in front of the loading door of Stage 1, within the time limit. Any fixed props you are carrying are handed in at the same time.

A route for the 7 fixed props

The seven fixed props span the whole map, from Strawberry to the Altruist Camp, so one loop is quicker than several trips. Starting and ending at the studio:

  1. Meltdown film reel (2), outside Solomon’s office: pick it up as you arrive.
  2. Headdress (5), in the Diamond Casino, then WIFA award (1) at the Vanilla Unicorn in Strawberry.
  3. Head north on the highway to the mummy head (6) off Route 68, then the alien head (3) at Beam Me Up, east of Sandy Shores.
  4. Cross to the west coast for the clapperboard (4) at Fort Zancudo, then up into the hills for the monster mask (7) at the Altruist Camp.
  5. Fly or drive back to Backlot City and hand in everything at once.

A helicopter makes the northern half far quicker, and it lets you drop right beside the Zancudo tower and leave before the wanted level catches up.

Rewards, checked

  • Each prop: $10,000, so $100,000 for all ten (GTA Wiki, GamesRadar).
  • RP: 5,000 for each fixed prop returned; 2,000 for each vehicle prop, plus 100 per wanted star you shake off (GTA Wiki).
  • The full set: after the tenth delivery, join a new session to receive Solomon’s last message, then go into his office. The Space Interloper outfit, an alien costume, waits in a cardboard box, along with a final $50,000. Until you open the box, you are free to wander around the office, familiar from story mode cutscenes.

Each returned prop also goes back on display in the office, which makes a good check of what you still owe him.

Can you do it solo?

Yes. The fixed props need nothing but travel, and the vehicle props are free-mode events you can clear alone, though the armed guards and the wanted level make a well-armoured character and a good weapon worth having. Rockstar also points out that controller vibration gives a clue when a prop is nearby, and the Interaction Menu’s Collectibles list tracks your count.

The Terrorbyte’s Collectible Scanner, added with the Agents of Sabotage update on December 10, 2024, lists Movie Props among the collectibles it reveals near its owner (Rockstar). On our map, tick each fixed prop with “Mark as found” as you go.

Solomon’s studio props sit alongside the rest of the game’s secrets: our GTA 5 easter eggs guide covers the Altruist Camp and Fort Zancudo in more detail, and the 100 action figures make a good second hunt on the same trips.

Frequently asked questions

How many movie props are there in GTA Online?

Ten. Seven lie at fixed spots you reach on foot, and three are carried in vehicles, a Pony, a Rumpo and a Rebel, that turn up at one of three possible locations each.

Where do you deliver the movie props?

To Solomon Richards' office at the Richards Majestic studio in Backlot City. Fixed props can be carried together and handed in at once; each vehicle prop is delivered by driving the vehicle to a marker at the studio.

What is the reward for all 10 movie props?

Each prop pays $10,000. Returning all ten adds $50,000 and The Space Interloper outfit, found in a box in Solomon's office, for $150,000 in total.

Why are the last three movie props so hard to find?

They are not on the ground. They sit in vehicles that appear as timed events guarded by armed men, marked on your map when they spawn. Keep playing in free mode and watch the minimap.
