GTA 6 Radio: Six Stations, Podcasts and Music on Foot

By ALLGTA World Staff · October 8, 2026

Rockstar revealed six of Grand Theft Auto VI’s radio stations on October 8, and the bigger news is how you will hear them. For the first time in the series there are on-demand podcasts, and both radio and podcasts work on foot, through headphones and earbuds connected to Jason’s and Lucia’s phones. Here is the lineup, what you can already listen to, and which host names come from Rockstar versus the press.

Confirmed: the Newswire post

The post, The Music of Grand Theft Auto VI: In-Game Radio Stations, makes three promises. The station list will span everything from Classic Rock to Talk Radio, and Rockstar calls it the biggest and widest-ranging selection of in-game radio it has made. Podcasts are new and play on demand, beyond Leonida’s live stations. And listening is no longer tied to a vehicle: on foot, the radio follows you through the characters’ smartphones.

The six stations, in Rockstar’s words

Rockstar names each host by their on-air name only.

Flash FM is a name fans of the 2002 Vice City will know. Mud Dog Mike gets the best line in the post: Back Country’s reporter, swamp meteorologist and Delta Dawne’s not-so-secret lover, calling in from his Grassrivers airboat.

Reported: who the hosts really are

Rockstar’s post never uses the hosts’ real names. Rolling Stone and Pitchfork, as relayed by Kotaku the same day, identified them: Bad Bunny and RaiNao on Cocoteo FM, Lana Del Rey and Morgan Wallen on Back Country Radio, with Del Rey’s husband Jeremy Dufrene as Mud Dog Mike, Burna Boy and DJ Palms Trax on AfroBank FM, Slayer’s Kerry King and Tom Araya on The Chamber, Robyn and model Alex Consani on Flash FM, and Trick Daddy and Trina on Dirty South Classics. The on-air names line up, and Lana Del Rey and RaiNao have both talked about it publicly, but treat the list as press reporting until Rockstar credits them itself.

What you can hear today

Each station has a preview mix on the Music section of Rockstar’s site. The songs in those previews are official, since Rockstar chose them:

  • Cocoteo FM: Bad Bunny, EoO; Axel Rulay with Farruko and El Alfa, Si Es Trucho Es Trucho (Remix); Romeo Santos and El Chaval de la Bachata, Canalla.
  • Back Country Radio: David Allan Coe, Need a Little Time Off for Bad Behavior; Loretta Lynn, Don’t Come Home A-Drinkin’; Hank Williams Jr. and Waylon Jennings, The Conversation.
  • AfroBank FM: Asake, Joha; Pat Thomas with Ebo Taylor, Gye Wani; DJ Lag and Robot Boii with Kamo Mphela, Shay’sana.
  • The Chamber: Black Sabbath, I; Pantera, I’m Broken; Slayer, Raining Blood.
  • Flash FM: Charli xcx, Good Ones; MGMT, Electric Feel; Zara Larsson and PinkPantheress, Midnight Sun (Girls Trip).
  • Dirty South Classics: David Banner with Lil’ Flip, Like A Pimp; JT Money with Solé, Who Dat; DJ Khaled with Trick Daddy, Rick Ross and Pitbull, Born N Raised.

The same page now lists nine singles from Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, three more than the six announced in September: Justice’s Flower in a Hurricane, Fuerza Regida’s Suzuki and Cardi B’s Don’t Chart. Our September roundup covers the album itself.

What is still missing

Six stations is a sample, not the list. Rockstar has not said how many stations there are, has not named a single podcast, and has not shown how the phone player works. Its post promises more details on the dynamic score and more album singles. A week later, the launch trailer confirmed Justice as the composers of that score.

Also on October 8: a GTA VI merch drop

The same day, Rockstar opened the Grand Theft Auto VI Collection on its online store: heavyweight tees with the VI or Rockstar logo, Goodtime State and Macca the Gator tees, Flexfit caps on pre-order, a chrome keychain, a Vice City money clip, a Vice City Zippo lighter, canvas totes and stickers. It is merchandise only, separate from the collector’s box announced in September. For everything else confirmed so far, see everything we know about GTA 6.
